4 Presentation Farmers Markets

Grow reviewed material in a booklet regarding the organization of farmer’s markets in other communities in St. Louis County, concluding with options for sites in both Old Orchard and Old Webster.    General support for the idea of bringing a farmer’s market to Webster next spring was expressed.  It was suggested we need to be careful about the roll out of the idea to make sure the districts are on board.  It was suggested that Grow talk to the property owner adjacent to The Road House, and that he attempt to have a guest manager of the Maplewood market come to the next meeting to discuss finances.  It was suggested that Roger’s Produce be contacted.
