The Sustainability Commission was created in 2008 to examine activities and processes within the City that could be improved to achieve energy conservation, environmental improvement, and sustainability of resources, and to make recommendations to the City Council regarding these matters.
The Commission consists of seven to nine citizen members appointed by the City Council.
The Missouri Botanical Garden and Midwest Renewable Energy Association are providing free, one-hour educational sessions on Grow St. Louis, a bulk solar group purchase program.
